Legal-Eaze

Legal-Eaze International Adoption Specialists LLC was founded in 1996 by an adoptive parent with over 20 years’ of corporate business experience.  Our primary goal was and continues to be to provide parents who are adopting from overseas easy access to the international adoption system by helping them help themselves.

We assist families with all of their paperwork needs in both the pre-adoption and post-adoption phases of their international adoptions.

With offices in Connecticut, Florida, and New York City, we work with all citizens of the United States, including Americans living abroad, who wish to adopt a child from any country in the world with an international adoption program.

Practically each member of our Legal-Eaze Team is an adoptive parent of a child from overseas.  Each team member, with their experience and expertise, has a personal interest in adoption and vows to make your pre– and post-adoption phases as pleasant and effortless as possible.

We keep our costs for these high-quality services low because we are not lawyers — we do not give legal advice nor do we represent you.

We assist adoptive parents with the many forms they need to complete, both before and after their adoptions.

Text Box: China Visas INCREASING to $130, effective January 21,2008
***Important Notes as of 4/28/08***: From this point forward, all Chinese visa applications must include the following in addition to the visa application and photo:
1.  Itinerary of travel arrangement provided by travel agency and a hotel reservation to Mainland China (including applicant’s name, date, hotel name, address and phone number);
2.  Round trip airline ticket to and from China (a copy of ticket or e-ticket is ok);
3.  Certificate of Financial Guarantee (such as latest banking statement or letter of sponsorship (a copy is ok);
4.  Proof of vacation by your employer (a letter from your employer stating you work there and what you do, including job title).  Those who are unemployed do not need such letter.
5.  Previous record of visiting China (copy of previous visa from your passport or the original former Chinese passport).
If any of these items are missing, the Consulate will reject the visa application. We have been informed they are calling the hotels to verify the reservations. In addition, be very careful with your visa photos. They should be highly-quality passport-type photos. We recommend having them professionally taken as the Consulate is also rejecting many photos these days as well. In addition, you must check “multi-entry” visa in order to get the full visa; if you check single-entry, you will only be issued a single entry even though you are paying for a multi-entry. Click to go to our Visa Section.

Great New Website for Home Studies!!!!
So many families need referrals for social workers or home study agencies. A new website has just been launched called MyHomeStudy.org. It lists home study agencies and social workers who perform home studies for international and domestic adoption. Sorted by state, this new resource should be a dream come true for prospective adoptive parents looking to begin their adoption. Visit it today at: www.myhomestudy.org.
